I want the blessings of God to overflow you in such a way that they spill over into the lives of others. First let me share some verses with you:

Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income; So shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine. (Proverbs 3:19-20, AMP)

“The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. (Deuteronomy 28:8, AMP)

You may be wondering what is the P3 Lifestlye and what does it have to do with Overflowing blessings? First of all, the P3 Lifestlye is a way of living that incorporates things from Proverbs 3 from the Bible. God directly gives us challenges and encouragement to live a lifestyle that is not only pleasing to Him but also a blessing to His people.

 

Recommended Reading/Listening

Now the overflowing of blessings happens when you apply P3 to your life and choose to allow God to use you as a willing vessel to bless His people in different ways. Do you have a talent for writing? Then are you writing articles or poems that encourage God’s people and sharing them? If not I would encourage you to start using this talent because many people are waiting for you to share so that the overflowing of blessings can begin.

Have you ever felt that you were bugging God when you continuously pray about the some of the same issues that you may face? Well, I know that there are times when I bring something before God but then I may forget to leave it with Him and then I will take it to Him again. In these instances, I feel like I’m saying, “It’s Me Lord, Again!”

But God doesn’t look at it like that. He hears our prayers and challenges us to build our faith in Him. As we pray, we must remember that leaving it in God’s hands is the best place to put our issues or problems. I like how the Message Bible states, Philippians 4:6-7,

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

So I challenge you to not worry about those issue or problems that you may face. Leave them in God’s hands and be assured that it is taken care of by God!

Using prayer as a tool to benefit the kingdom of God is an awesome goal in life. When I’m faced with life challenges, I have found more peace in turning to God through prayer. Recently, I was faced with a business challenge where I had to decide if I would expand my business with an internship program or not. After much prayer, God not only gave me a green light to do it, but he gave me instructions on how to conduct the program and who should be included in the program.

What areas in your life is God challenging you to turn to Him in prayer? Have you been playing dodge-ball with your prayer time? Then I want to challenge you to take the next seven days and try to allot at least 5-10 minutes per day to spend in prayer. Start off small and then increase the time when you feel comfortable increasing it.
